Skrillex: The 24 years old superstar dj

We all know him for his dubstep. He is Skrillex, or better Sonny John Moore, born January 15, 1988.

What?
Yes, he is only 24 years old.
Born in Los Angeles, California, Sonny was adopted by Scott and Francis Moore. When he was 12 years old, he started performing at small concert.
Then he joined "The Riots" and started playing street punk.

His second band was "Hazel-rah", genre ambient rock and then at risk. When he was 16 years hold he joined the "From First to Last".
She started as guitarist, but he became soon the vocalist of the band.

In 2006 he had vocal problems, so he pursued a solo career.

Skrillex

He opened his MySpace profile and started publishing his performance. After months of releasing demos via Myspace, Moore played on the Team Sleep Tour with a full band.

He had a tour with Hollywood Undead in April 2009 performing under the band name Sonny and the Blood Monkeys, with Chris Null (electric guitar), Sean Friday (drums, percussion & beats) and Aaron Rothe (keyboards, synthesizers, programming & turntables).

His production career started in 2008, under the alias of SKRILLEX.
He released his official Skrillex debut EP, My Name is Skrillex as a free download on June 7, 2010.
Moore provided programming and vocals for UK metalcore band Bring Me the Horizon on their third studio album.


In the last years he signed with Mau5trap, of the superstar DJ Deadmau5, and released his consecrating EP "Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites"

Since it is career is increasing quickly, and he is by now one of the most famous dubstep dj in in the world.
In 2011 he entered in "top 100 djs" by Dj magazine, as the best new entry, ranking nineteenth.

In a lot of photos on Deadmau5 public page on facebook, we can see the super Canadian dj together with Skrillex, and it is shown a friendly relationship.
On August 17, 2011 Skrillex announced his own label, OWSLA.
