Hello GoldMyr followers! I bet we all had a busy weekend. Some of us may be chillin’ around listening to progressive house, while others did not have enough fun in the clubs and are rockin’ it at home to some hardcore electro-house or dubstep songs. Either way, nothing can stop you from getting a little from both, and more! Yes, today we are featuring the almighty master of DnB, JON GOOCH!!
Hell yeah! This guy is a phenomenon. Starting off with a DnB project called Spor and releasing some HUGE hits over the years like “Kingdom”, “Supernova” and one of the most loved Drum and Bass remixes on the web: “The Quemists – Stompox (Spor Remix)”, he obtained his name from one of the first set of samples he collected, entitled 'Spore Tactics', and a favorite piece of artwork by a friend, Karl Kwasny. I won’t even talk about his releases as Spor. Each and every single one of them is HUGE and there are TONS on youtube.
Now we’re getting to the real deal. Some time ago, in a land far far away, where fairies were roaming around doing fairy things and being happy, a little green thingie was born. And that thingie dropped the bass so hard, that the little kingdom of fairies was blown into eternity, like the sands of the Sahara desert. Jon Gooch producing Electro-House and Dubstep? That sounded too good to be true. But it happened, and when it did, guess who noticed him? Our beloved master of progressive house, Joel Zimmerman. Feed Me’s first single was released on Noisia’s label and to be honest, it sounded really promising. The single was named „Mordez Moi” and I really, really recommend it. His first EP was released through mau5trap, and it contained 2 tracks: „The Spell” and „Raw Chicken”. The fans immediately noticed his talent, and by the time his second EP was aut, he already developed quite the fanbase. His latest EP is named „Feed Me’s Escape From Electric Mountain” and again, that’s a huge bang for your buck, especially if you are a FPS addict. (BOOOOM HEADSHOT!)
In the end, you will enjoy Jon’s music. Quite the mix between headbanging and actually chilling, there is a bit for everybody from this guy. But wait! That’s not enough! We have something really special for you here. A special mini-mix featuring 4 of Feed Me’s tracks (Tracklist in the description). Made for EDM fans and DJ’s alike, you can listen to it or drop it in a club. Your call.
