Elliot Gleave - Example of a great talent

I don’t think there’s much to say about this guy. I think he’s great, the world thinks he’s great and he also has a great voice. He’s the only and I mean the ONLY rapper I still listen to. (and yes, contrary to the popular belief, Example IS a rapper). Why do I like him so much? Because his style is new and fresh and that’s what I am always looking for. Something new.

His real name is Elliot Gleave and, According to the Kickstarts Songfacts, Gleave’s performing name goes back to his schooldays when he was rapping in the playground and some guy nicknamed him Example from his initials EG. Even though he started releasing songs somewhere in the year of 204, his breakthrough years were 2009-2010, when he released an EP called „Won’t go quietly”, featuring „Watch the sun come up”, „Won’t go quietly” and „Kickstarts”.

Just one year later he released another critically aclaimed EP called „Playing in the shadows”. This album is huge, really. I can talk about each and every single song featured on it for a few hours each. Actually, it’s that great that it debuted at number one in the UK albums chart.

Over the years, example worked with various artists such as Flux Pavilion, Feed Me ( For those who didn’t know, his single called „Midnight Run” is actually produced by Jon Gooch ), Chase & Status, Professor Green, etc.

In 2012, he confirmed a release of a 4th album. He will be collaborating with producers like : Dillon Francis, Tommy Trash, Benga, Michael Woods and so on.

So, next time you are looking for some really inspiring and interesting lyrics or just a bunch of songs with meaning, be sure to search this guy on youtube.

Swedish House Mafia are gonna Split. The legendary trio is going to divide

These are the words with which the legendary trio ( composed by Steve Angello, Sebastian Ingrosso and Axwell ) announces that he's going to split. 

The origins of this group started when Angello and Ingrosso was only child, they "were six or seven". (read the full story of SHM here).

Their final UK date will be at Milton Keynes Bowl on 14 July but dates in Ibiza will follow in August before the last date on home turf in Sweden on 24 November.
This is their last tour.
The motivation of this choice is still unknown. The info was given by them by their official website and they haven't commented it yet.

Skrillex is a pedophile. Another fake

Lastly it is not so hard to read on YouTube's comment that "Skrillex is a pedophile", "Skrillex touches children", "Skrillex touched a girl".
As always, YouTube is the best place for sharing fake news and fake rumors.
They usually last for not so much time, but they incredibly spread in just a few of days. We can remember the last bullshit that said that he is cancer patient.

No one  has released an official press about it, so it is probably a fake born on YouTube. We can also remember the rumors about him that spread that said that he was died but, how we can notice, he is still alive. So we advice to be wary of these fake rumors and trust only the official channels to share this kind of news!

We can notice the campaign that Skrillex is developing against pedophiles, for example in the video of his song "First Of The Year (Equinox)"

What is Complextro?

Many people nowadays are talking about complextro, but what is it? Is it even a genre?

The answer is no. "Complextro" is a style of electro-house, it isn´t even a subgenre, it´s just a name for this new Style.
Complextro is - like the name - very complex build and aggresive electro-house with many variatons, that nowadays is influenced by dubstep elements such as the wobble, the robot growl or other basses. It´s mostly produced around 128 bpm (beats per minute). Many people confuse it with filthy, mid-range frequency dubstep (some call it brostep), which is produced around 70bpm or around 140 bpm (at halftime).

But who created this term?

It was the electro-house/dubstep producer and dj "Porter Robinson".
He created the word to have a portmanteau to describe his own sound of electro-house and used it as the tagline on his myspace. He just united the words "complex" and "electro", which became "complextro". Now people use it as the name of a style. (Attention: It´s not a genre) Here is a tweet between "Porter Robinson" and the dj "BT":

Skrillex Cancer : true or fake?

From few days it's easy to listen that Sonny John Moore (Skrillex) is cancer patient. This rumor comes from YouTube's top comments on Skrillex videos.
A comment has caused quite a stir. This comment was apparently published by TheOfficialSkrillex Youtube's account. Here's a screen shot:

Yes, the rumors are true I do have cancer but i do have strong hopes of getting
